How It Began

Georgia Hive & Honey began the way most meaningful things do — with curiosity, family, and a willingness to get a few stings along the way. We are first-generation beekeepers who learned the craft from family members who love it deeply. That love took root in us, and it hasn't let go.
What started as a passion became a purpose. We started our first hives, made every beginner's mistake, and kept going. Because the bees kept teaching us, and we kept learning. Now, years into this journey, we tend our apiaries in the Georgia countryside with the same patience and wonder we had on day one.

The Legacy
Teaching the Next Generation
The greatest thing about beekeeping is that it is a gift you can give. We bring our children and grandchildren out to the hives. We put the veil on them, hand them the smoker, and watch their eyes go wide. That moment — when a child first holds a frame full of bees and isn't afraid — that is what this is all for. We are building something that will outlast us, one hive at a time.
Patience
Bees move on their own schedule. We learned early that the best beekeepers are the ones who slow down and listen.
Craft
Every inspection, every harvest, every jar is done by hand. There are no shortcuts in honest beekeeping.
Stewardship
